This story originated as a 'choose your own adventure' (CYOA) story on the GameFAQs message board, Anime and Manga - Other Titles.  It originally was meant to poke fun at the current airing of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009) which, at the time, had aired four consecutive episodes that consisted of essentially the same plot (involving a time loop).  However, the topic grew in support and the story continued on and finally ended on July 21, 2009.  Of note, this story's loop number is in the two billions while the most recently aired episode at the time was only 15,513.  While certain basic plots in this story directly parallel the story of the anime series, please do not believe that the two are connected.
